We Americans have become complacent because we’ve had it easy, our material lives have continued to improve with new entertainment, technologies, and apps that now consume us. We took the power of The People and put it on a shelf in the back of the closet because we never thought that WE would need to use it. But our two-party rulers never became complacent, they’ve been busy at work passing bits of legislation and policy every week, every month, every year, to take money and power from us and transfer it to them, their parties, and their donors. So in 2024 will you continue to be complacent and vote for people with R’s or D’s behind their names because they’ve convinced you the “other” party is the bad one, or will you pull your power back off that shelf, tell our two-party rulers you’ve had enough, and support the only people running for office that can actually fix the system: independent representatives.
